Jason A. Shyres provides serious, focused and, where necessary, aggressive representation to suit clients’ individual legal needs.  He first-chaired jury and bench trials to verdict, has argued in countless depositions and hearings before many judges in Southern California, gaining the respect of the court as well as his adversaries. 

Mr. Shyres has worked diverse aspects of the law including business litigation, consumer/warranty (lemon law), family law, criminal law, construction defect litigation and workers’ compensation. 

Prior to law school, Mr. Shyres worked for nearly two years at The Measurement Group (TMG) as a researcher, then as a website administrator and, while still at TMG, Mr. Shyres also worked with underserved and at-risk populations.

Education:

Mr. Shyres attended UCLA, where he was on the Dean’s List.  While there, he earned the Chancellor’s Service Award for his community service, which recognized and honored his volunteering leadership in Watts and Downey.  Mr. Shyres graduated from UCLA with B.A. degrees in both Economics and Sociology.

After graduating from UCLA, Mr. Shyres attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California, where he obtained his Juris Doctorate degree.  While there, Mr. Shyres received a First Honors award in International Protection of Technology, clerked for a number of law firms and legal corporations, and was a certified law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office in Downtown Los Angeles.
