Jason Davis spent the early part of his career as a representative for several California-based firearms manufacturers, gaining more than 13 years of practical business and manufacturing experience in the firearms industry. He used this experience at when he managed the firearms division at a leading California law firm and counseled sporting goods retailers, firearm manufacturers, dealers and trade associations in California's firearms, airgun and other weapons-related regulatory compliance and in litigation matters.

In 2008, Mr. Davis, along with David Kopel and C. D. Michel submitted an Amicus Brief to the United States Supreme Court on behalf a majority of California District Attorneys and other law enforcement associations in Heller v. District of Columbia, the seminole case on whether the Second Amendment provides an individual right to bear arms. Mr. Davis was also designated a Southern California Rising Stars by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
Having gained experience in sporting goods regulation, automotive litigation, business & securities litigation, and entertainment law, Mr. Davis has developed the relationships necessary to expedite his client's goals.
After nearly eight years of work at his previous employer, Mr. Davis founded Davis & Associates.
Education:
Mr. Davis graduated cum laude from the University of California, Riverside in 1999 with dual degrees in economics and history. His undergraduate writings attributing economics as a key factor in the rise of firearms litigation was accepted for publication by the University of California, Riverside's Cornerstone Journal.
